Hi! I’m India (she/her).

It’s my honor and passion to help creative souls of all genders and identities to find and follow their true path in life and work.

I founded the Wayfinder Institute to unlock the power of art observation and mindfulness to spark personal growth and wellbeing.

My work combines a background in mindfulness, art museum education, yoga and IFS (internal family systems) therapy. I have a masters degree in Museum Education and have worked with many museums, art and wellness institutions. As a mindfulness teacher and mentor, I trained with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield for 2.5 years to receive two certifications (MMTCP and MMT). In the field of yoga I received a 200-hour yoga certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, a 500-hour certification from Shakti Initiation Women’s Leadership Training, and a certificate in kids yoga from Deep Play for Kids. My work is also informed by training in IFS therapy. Many years on the receiving end of therapy (IFS, Sensorimotor) and coaching (business, money, executive function) have also added to my skillsets and impacted my own coaching and mentoring style, which has been a great privilege.

I am a survivor of clinical depression. I live with ADHD and identify as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). Each of these sometimes-isolating experiences has also given me deep compassion, connection and gifts.

As a creative, in addition to my Deep Seeing practice I am a writer and poet, photographer, experimental gardener and burgeoning woodworker. I love nature, travel, kitchen dancing and looking closely. Sometimes delicious foods make me cry.

I grew up in VT and NH and I live now in Jamaica Plain, MA (a part of Boston, USA) with my dear husband, son, and dog.

I would love to learn more about you, too. Feel free to reach out and let me know what resonates.
